U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration and the pharmaceutical sector may be at war over drug prices in Washington. But in Europe, they’re working in partnership to drive them up.
Pharmaceutical companies are aggressively lobbying U.S. trade officials to open new tariff investigations into European countries with tightly controlled medicine prices, according to five people familiar with the administration’s thinking.
