Interview: Juliet Schor

Since 2010 Juliet Schor has been studying the recent phenomenon that is the sharing economy. She first rose to prominence in the 1990s with her bestselling book The Overworked American. And her studies have included trends in working time, consumerism, women’s issues and inequality. The Mint talked to her about what she had discovered about the sharing economy. It turns out that what sounds like an unquestionably positive thing is not so cuddly in reality.
