Alex is a postdoctoral social scientist researching the politics of food technology and global food security, with a particular focus on alternative approaches to conventional livestock production. She is currently working at the University of Oxford on an interdisciplinary research project entitled ‘Livestock, Environment and People’ (LEAP) funded by the Wellcome Trust.
