LONDON — The Scottish National Party has announced its support for Rosebank and Jackdaw, two of the U.K.’s largest and most controversial proposed oil and gas fields.
Graham Leadbitter, Westminster energy spokesperson for the SNP, said his party’s backing came at a time when “security of [oil and gas] supply is a major concern,” as the conflict between the U.S., Israel and Iran stretches into its fifth week.
