Nina is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Economic Justice, at Glasgow Caledonian University. Gender and equality related issues are central to her research interests, with a particular focus on work, employment and organisations. Nina is a qualitative researcher who has worked on projects on the gender composition of corporate boards, women’s representation in higher education, NHS middle and junior managers’ working lives, the playing out of flexible working policy and driving organisational cultural change in relation to work–life initiatives. Current research relates to the care economy, the potential of pandemic-induced ruptures to the gendered division of household labour and the social and economic significance of intergenerational interdependencies.
