Sarah is a Professor of Work & Organisations at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University. Her research focuses on the lived realities of work in contemporary organisations spanning a range of sectors and organisational forms. More recently this has centred on work in adult social care and co-operative organisational forms. Sarah is the National Lead for Wales of the IMPACT Centre (Improving Adult Social Care Together) – an implementation centre funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Health Foundation to support evidence-based practices in adult social care. She is also a member of the Executive Team of the CARE Research Centre at Cardiff University funded by Health & Care Research Wales.
