Yuan Wang

Yuan joined Sheffield Hallam University in January 2019. Before that, she worked at the University of Manchester, University College London, the University of Southampton and Aston University, teaching economics to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Yuan’s teaching philosophy is to make Economics interesting to her students. 

Her research is mostly concentrated on theoretical Macroeconomics and Applied Econometrics. She has explored topics around International Tourism and economic growth, the effects of uncertainty on foreign direct investment, the relationship between corruption and variables such as entrepreneurship, uncertainty and growth, and other topics.
