He has vast experience of both in-house and private practice, and in government service, having been a General Counsel at BT, a former Partner at Sidley Austin, and a member of the Competition Appeal Tribunal. He now specialises in complex competition cases and court actions. For example he is currently representing the Digital Policy Alliance before the CMA in its Market Investigation of digital markets, The London Cremation Company in the Funerals market investigation, Tobii AB in its challenge to the CMA’s decision concerning Tobii’s acquisition of Smartbox and a number of companies in follow on damages cases in the English Courts for Google’s abuse of dominance.
