Tehila is an Associate Professor of Modern History in the Faculty of History at the University of Oxford and a Fellow and Tutor in History at Wadham College. She is also a co-editor of the journal Modern British History (OUP). Her book, The Solidarity Economy: Nonprofits and the Making of Neoliberalism after Empire, came out in July 2024 from Princeton University Press. She has also written various articles and essays on the history of consumerism, corporate social responsibility, humanitarianism, and philanthrocapitalism in the American Historical Review, Past & Present, and Dissent among other places.
