Laurie is a trustee of Rethinking Economics, an international network of students, academics and professionals building a better economics in society and the classroom. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at IPPR, covering political economy, transport systems, and the Anthropocene, and founder of Bring Back the NHS. Previously, Laurie worked for Lord Skidelsky in the House of Lords, where he focussed on post-crash macroeconomic policy, at the Institute for New Economic Thinking at Oxford University, and as a strategist for Purpose.
