Camilla Toulmin

Camilla is currently associate at the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET), and at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), having been its Director for 12 years. She holds a professorship at Lancaster University, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Her work has combined field research, policy analysis and advocacy. Her interests include building alliances with those on the frontline of sustainable development and land rights in Africa. Camilla has a BA in Economics from Cambridge University, an MSc in Development Economics (SOAS) and a DPhil in Economics from University of Oxford.
