Ananya is an interdisciplinary socio-environmental researcher, affiliated with the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her work focuses on climate change adaptation, environmental policy, socioecological resilience, and community engagement. She has worked on multiple European and international research projects, including pursuing her PhD within the EU SCORE project in Ireland, and conducting research across EU and Global South countries. She is currently working at the intersection of research, policy and practice, and feels passionately about co-designing solutions with communities in order to build climate resilience.
