Noel Cass

Noel is a Research Fellow in Energy Demand Behaviour in the Institute for Transport Studies at the University of Leeds, UK. His research for over 30 years has focussed on the social science of energy use and energy systems, and includes a PhD in Science Studies focusing on Climate Change Policy in UK local authorities, awarded 2003. Having researched renewable energy planning, radioactive waste management, environmental auditing, building design, everyday travel and more, his most recent work has been on ‘high energy consumption’ and electric vehicles (on-street charging, and now electric micro-mobility)
