Francesco is a Research Assistant at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He holds an MSc in Political Economy of Late Development from the same university, and he is specialised in the history of financial innovations – from the Freebanking era to the modern cryptocurrency market. His academic interests also include the political economy of technology and the study of social inequality. He is an avid traveller and explorer of developing countries. In 2016 he hitch-hiked 10.000+ km across the Americas as a solo traveller (Mexico–>Argentina).
